Individual therapy with me can support your well-being in several meaningful ways. We will work together to develop practical tools and techniques to manage your stress, intrusive thoughts, and emotional distress. I will support you through the transition to parenthood, helping you adjust to new roles and responsibilities while encouraging and supporting self-care practices to maintain your emotional and physical well-being.

In our sessions, we will focus on topics such as improving communication and support within your family unit to manage perinatal stress better. I will offer you guidance for dealing with past trauma or difficult birth experiences, aiding in healing and moving forward. I am committed to respecting and embracing your neurodiversity-related concerns with a neurodivergent-affirming approach.

We will also use approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address and alter your negative thought patterns and behaviors, or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you accept and navigate challenging emotions while focusing on meaningful actions and mindfulness practices. Our work will frequently involve collaboration among you, me, and other key service providers. Overall, I will employ biopsychosocial and brain-based perspectives to ensure a comprehensive approach to your evaluation and treatment.
